Freddie's Fight

So Andrew Flintoff's IPL adventure has come to a premature end, and he will miss the beginning of England's summer at least.

A lot of criticism has been banned around to the ECB for allowing 'Freddie' to go to South Africa in the first place.

They had to let him go, they needed to let him go.

The IPL so far has shown how far behind England players are behind the rest of the world when it come to Twenty20 cricket. I am afraid to say Twenty20 is the future of the game and English international players do not play enough of it.

KP and 'Freddie' have both struggled in South Africa which is a worrying fact ahead of this summers World Twenty20 in England, which i fear the host will struggle in big time. England tend to play Twenty20 cricket like they do one dayers - too conservative. And when they do try and play attacking cricket they almost always fail under the pressure.

Sending "Freddie" to the IPL was a risk, but it was a necessary one!
